User-defined analysis workflows

There are three ways to create user-defined analysis workflows in Ion Reporter™ Software for use with ready-to-use Ion AmpliSeq™ and Ion AmpliSeq™ HD panels.

• Copy an existing analysis workflow, then edit its settings to create an analysis workflow. For more information, see Copy and edit an existing analysis workflow. This procedure is typically used to create or edit the parameters of the analysis workflow for an expansion panel, based on the analysis workflow for the pre-existing panel. This procedure is also used to edit the settings for a ready-to-use panel.

• Create a new analysis workflow that contains unique settings. For more information, see Create a new analysis workflow. This procedure is typically used to create an analysis workflow for use with a custom Ion AmpliSeq™ panel.

• For Ion AmpliSeq™ HD panel files that are imported from AmpliSeq.com, copy the appropriate Ion AmpliSeq™ HD analysis workflow template, then use the template to make further changes to the user-defined analysis workflow, then save the analysis workflow before it is used for analysis. For more information, see Copy and edit an analysis workflow template. This procedure is required to create an analysis workflow for use with a custom Ion AmpliSeq™ HD panels.
