This filter can be added to filter chains in the software to measure the conservation
of protein across a wide range of organisms in 16S metagenomics analyses. The
specific filters are:

Filter conditions include the ability to set a score range from −14.0 to 3.0. In addition, the range boundary values can be included or excluded, and unannotated variants can be included or excluded in filtered analysis results.
This filter returns PyloP scores for 16S metagenomics samples.
